Sex Pistols at Manchester Lesser Free Trade Hall films sell for £15k


When the Sex Pistols played the first of two gigs at Manchester’s Lesser Free Trade Hall on 4 June 1976, there were actually only around 40 people in attendance, but as Tony Wilson, played by Steve Coogan, later pointed out in the film 24 Hour Party People: “There were 12 people at the Last Supper”.
